WHY WE EXIST
Row New York was founded in 2002 based on the premise that the discipline of competitive rowing combined with rigorous academic support yields powerful returns.
Since 2002, our programs have impacted the lives of New Yorkers by helping them build confidence, discover their strengths, and find a community that believes in them. Across ages and abilities, our programs empower participants with the skills, relationships, and support to shape their own future.
At Row New York, we pull together—in the boat, in the classroom, as a community—to help all rowers push ahead.
We’re not your average rowing club. Per our mission, Row New York offers free rowing, mentorship, and academic support for student-athletes from households earning under 100k annually.
