Mel Abler
Mel learned to row as an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where she competed on the lightweight team for 3.5 years while completing undergraduate degrees in Engineering Physics, Astrophysics, and Applied Mathematics.  She is now working on her Ph.D. in Applied Physics at Columbia University.  Mel brings her love for teaching to the School Day Adaptive, Learn to Row, and Recreational Masters programs while using her background in research and data analysis to help all Community Rowing programs better meet the needs of participants.
