Our competitive masters took quite a trip this weekend, traveling from NYC to the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta! On Friday, after many hours on the road, they had a great practice at The West Side Rowing Club in Buffalo – home club of our Community Rowing Director Matt Logue. A big thanks to WSRC for hosting us and being so welcoming!
On Saturday the group visited Niagara Falls, NY and had another practice in Canada. Then, on Sunday, our crews competed in 8 events at the 132nd Canadian Henley Masters Regatta. They raced hard with excellent competitors, and represented RNY well! This was definitely a weekend to remember for our masters. Thank you to the Henley and the participating clubs for being so inviting and interested in the mission of Row New York!
