On the evening of February 24th, our 14 seniors dressed up in their best business attire and traveled to the offices of Maverick Capital on 5th Avenue in Manhattan for Row New York’s second annual Professional Women’s Dinner. The evening began with a reception, complete with “mocktails” and passed hors d’oeuvres, where the girls practiced their networking skills with friendly Maverick Capital volunteers and enjoyed erudite conversation regarding college, career plans, and life dreams. The group then moved on to a catered dinner in a Maverick Capital boardroom, where they received tips on proper etiquette, including the best advice of Emily Post. College classes and dorm life seem right around the corner for this talented and ambitious group of young women. We are proud of you all!
