Our winter training program is open to adults of any athletic skill level. Whether you’ve been rowing for years, are looking for a different way to amp up your cardio, we welcome anyone interested in working out in a fun, challenging, team environment!
Classes are run by professional rowing coaches with extensive backgrounds in the sport. We focus on improving technical proficiency on indoor rowing machines while also increasing fitness, flexibility, and strength through rowing, bodyweight circuits, core routines, and stretching.
The Riggerous: HIIT class is designed to be a high intensity cardio session! You’ll work your whole body with high rate sprint work on the ergs paired with more advanced bodyweight exercises. Be prepared to get your heart rate up and keep it there!
The Catching On: Rowing 101 class is designed as a beginner class for people looking to work on their rowing technique, flexibility, and overall fitness and endurance. Expect lots of stretching, and longer, lower rate pieces on the erg.
The Either Oar: Interval Training class is for the athlete who wants to work on strength training in addition to their rowing technique. Expect intense cardio on the erg, paired with conditioning and strength building bodyweight exercises in this high energy class!
The Crewcial: Hour of Power class is an endurance class for athletes who are looking for some quality time with the erg! Expect lower to mid-range rates with plenty of rate shifts, power stretches, race simulation, and friendly competition!
Registration and pricing
— Unlimited: For $350, the unlimited package gives you access to any and all classes that you’d like to attend from now until the conclusion of our season in March!
— 10-pack: For $250, purchasing a 10-pack allows you to come to any 10 classes of your choosing from the start of the season until March. A coach will be keeping track of how many sessions you’ve used and will let you know when you’re getting close to using them all.
— 5-pack: For $135, any 5 classes of your choosing, from now through until March.
— Single Session: For $30, good for one class.
Last day of classes before the holiday break is December 20th. All classes will resume January 2nd.
Class sign up
After purchasing a package, participants will be automatically added to a platform called “UpActive” (formerly Sport Up), where you can choose your weekly classes. An invitation to the platform will be sent to you by a Row New York coach.
