Identity Week field trip to the National Museum of the American Indian
Today was another field trip day! Students from our middle school programs started in Battery Park and then visited the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian in New York in continuation of their weekly field trips related to specific themes. This week is “Identity Week.” Our instructors have challenged the students to think about identity in ways they may not have before. The students have been reading from “Queen of Water” by Author Laura Resau, discussing what they’ve read, and writing reflections. Keep up the hard work!
