ROWING SUCCESS

Row New York competes in 10 to 15 regattas per year, and the team has become a regional force in rowing, regularly winning medals in races against teams from elite private schools. Row New York’s Novice Four won the New York State Championship in 2010, coming in 10 seconds faster than any other crew. The Varsity Four finished with a Bronze medal in the same Championship. Row New York’s Varsity Four also finished with Silver medals in the New York State Championship in both 2008 and 2009, and its Novice Eight won Gold at the 2009 Mercer Lake Sprints.
