Summer Camps

Row New York’s Summer Community Rowing Camps provide a one-to-three day experience of rowing to children and youth brought to us from other youth-serving organizations from across the city. Activities include a water safety talk with the Row New York coaches, practicing the basic rowing stroke on land-based rowing machines, and on-watering rowing in our untippable training barge. This is a great way for young people to try a unique new sports as they get out into the summer weather, flex their muscles, and practice teamwork with a group of their friends.
