Director of Human Resources

This position will oversee the organization’s Human Resources function, including the planning and development of Human Resources initiatives, diagnosing critical areas for attention, and implementing decisive, clear strategies that anticipate and address problems with effective solutions.

Database, Metrics, and Evaluations Manager

The Database, Metrics & Evaluations Manager will provide strategic, administrative and service-related data, project coordination, and analytical support to all teams within the organization with a core focus on Salesforce management. The primary emphasis of this position is to learn and anticipate the organization’s needs, deliver high quality data services to core team members, and provide best practices on managing data end-to-end, especially in the areas of donor acquisition/retention and program metrics.

Director of Academics

The  Director of Academics and College Readiness oversees the many facets of Row New York’s after school academics and college prep programs. The Director of Academics and College Readiness will develop curriculum, oversee a team of tutors, and work with Academic & College Success Coordinators in Queens, Manhattan, and Brooklyn to run academic sessions for 240 middle school and high school girls and boys enrolled in Row New York programs in their pursuit of athletic and academic excellence.

Director of Capital Campaign

The Director of Capital Campaign will develop and execute the Capital Campaign raise, coach and train the development team, work with the Board of Directors and the Capital Campaign Leadership Council, and track progress. They will work closely with the Deputy Director, Director of Development, and Executive Director, to devise and implement a multifaceted capital campaign that will support Row New York’s plans for executing its strategic plan with the ultimate goal of a community boathouse.

Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant will provide executive support, manage calendars, and work on a variety of special projects. The Executive Assistant will occasionally support other senior staff as well. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

General Tutor

Row New York seeks an energetic and patient tutor with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to think on their feet to lead small tutor groups and provide one on one tutoring in our after-school academic program. This is an opportunity to develop teaching and mentoring skills with middle school and/or high school youth.
