By 1 Train
Take the 1 to Dyckman St.
Walk up Hillside Ave to Dyckman St. and take a right on Dyckman St.
Cross over Harlem River Drive at PS 5 and continue into the park. Continue walking on the bike path/road into the park. The boathouse will be on the left.
By A Train
Take the A to Dyckman St. Walk east five blocks on Dyckman St. until it dead-ends at Harlem River Drive.
Cross over Harlem River Drive at PS 5 and continue into the park. Continue walking on the bike path/ road into the park. The boathouse will be on the left.
From South of the Boathouse, by Car
Take the FDR North to Harlem River Drive.
Take the Harlem River Drive for approximately 5 miles.
At the intersection of Dyckman and the Harlem River Drive, turn right at the light onto 10th Ave.
Immediately turn right at PS 5 onto the unnamed street under the pedestrian bridge.
Park at the back of the dead end.
From the back of the parking lot walk into the park and through the vegetable garden. Continue to walk through the green gate at the far end onto the big paved bike path/ road. Follow the path south to the river until you see the boathouse on your left.
From North of the Boathouse, by Car
Take 87 South/Major Deegan South to the 207th/University Bridge to Manhattan.
Turn Left on 10th Ave and take it for about 0.4 miles.
Take the first Left after 201st street on the unnamed street under the pedestrian bridge.
Park at the back of the dead end.
From the back of the parking lot walk into the park and through the vegetable garden. Continue to walk through the green gate at the far end onto the big paved bike path/ road. Follow the path south to the river until you see the boathouse on your left.
QUEENS BOATHOUSE

By 7 Train (followed by 20-minute walk)
Take the 7 train to Citi-field station (between the 111th and Main St. stops).
Get off the train and go downstairs one level. Follow the signs for the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Walk through the turnstiles towards the MTA booth. Turn left at the MTA booth.
Go down the small flight of stairs – DO NOT go to the street level. You will see a wooden boardwalk on your left.
Walk up the wooden boardwalk as it joins with a larger boardwalk. Continue straight and head downhill (Citi Field will be BEHIND you as you walk down the big ramp). At the end of the ramp, make a U-turn to the left, walking by the tennis courts until you come to Perimeter Road.
This is where Row New York vans pick up athletes in its Competitive Youth and PREP Programs. Row New York does not offer pick-up service for any other programs.
To walk to the boathouse (20/25-minute brisk walk), bear to the right toward the large Globe monument (there are buildings on your right side).
At the Globe, you will find a roundabout, where you will make a left, heading clockwise. Exit left at the fourth path toward Queens Theatre in the Park. This path is a double promenade, flanked by trees.
Continue past the theater, and cross over the Long Island Expressway (LIE) on the pedestrian bridge.
Once you have crossed the LIE, bear left and head to the left side of Meadow Lake, following the shore for about 500 meters until you come to our boathouse–a large brick building.
By E, F, R, or M Train (followed by 20- to 25-minute walk)
Take the E, F, R, or M train to the 71st Ave/Forest Hills station.
Take the exit to 71st Ave and 108th St (very important).
Walk up 108th St away from Queens Blvd and make a right onto Harry Van Arsdale Jr Ave.
Walk several avenue blocks, crossing over the Grand Central Parkway. You will then see Meadow Lake on your left. Cross into the park (carefully!) and head toward the path along the lake and bear to the right of the lake, walking another half mile. The boathouse is a large brick building right on the lake.
By Car

By Train
Take the Main St. Flushing Bound 7 train.
Get off at the Main St. Flushing Station (last stop).
Walk to the very front of the train to exit the station; take the escalator to the left.
You are now on Roosevelt Ave. Macy’s will be across the street from you and you will see a McDonalds up the street.
Walk towards the McDonalds until you hit Union St.
Turn LEFT on Union St. and walk 4 blocks to Northern Blvd. (there will be a big intersection in front of you).
Take a RIGHT onto Northern Blvd. The YMCA will be at the end of the block on your right.
By Bus
Take the QM4 bus (Electchester Queens / Via Jewel Ave. bound).
Get off at Jewel Ave. and Main St.
From Main St. and Jewel Ave., take the Q44-Limited bus (Bronx Zoo W Farms Sq via Main St. bound).
Get off at Union St. & 35th Ave.
Walk 0.12 miles South to destination.

Take the Q32 bus (Jackson Hts. Northern – 81 via Roosevelt Ave. bound).
Arrive at Queens Plaza S and 28th St.
Transfer to the Q66 bus (Main St. / Roosevelt Ave. bound).
Get off at Northern Blvd. and Main St.
Walk 0.23 miles East to destination.
