Row New Yorkers hold an eight overheads as they are about to launch at Meadow Lake.

How much does the program cost?
All Row New York programs are FREE to participants. For the competitive team, that includes coaching, equipment usage, hotel fees, travel expenses, gym membership fees, SAT tutoring, college guidance…the list goes on and on!

Where do you row?
We train on Meadow Lake in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Located in Flushing, New York, we are minutes from Shea Stadium and the U.S.T.A. Tennis Center.

Are Row New York programs safe for weak swimmers?
All participants learn the basics on land and transition onto an untippable rowing barge. For weaker swimmers, RNY offers state of the art personal flotation devices. In addition, participants in the competitive program receive free swim lessons.

On which days do the programs meet?
Learn-to-Row and CHAMPS programs run once per week on various days, but the Core Competitive Program meets Tuesday - Friday after school and on Saturday mornings. In addition, we offer academic services on Mondays after school.
